Initiating Outbound Calls from Third Party Applications

Active Call Center includes a COM object for outbound dialing. This COM object can be integrated with many other applications, including:

• Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Excel, Access, etc.
• Development tools like Visual Basic, C++, Delphi, and others.
• Web hosting products like Active Server Pages or ColdFusion.

Active Call Center also includes an API that allows direct access to outbound dialing features via a DLL. This topic is addressed later in this chapter.
