Folder Variable

Set the value of the Folder variable to easily categorize calls in the Call History. Every call that is saved to the Call History has an associated Folder value, and specifying this value will allow easy retrieval of batches of calls later. Only the last value of the Folder variable prior to a disconnect is used for filing the Call in the Call History.

One application of the Folder variable would be in a situation where voice mails are received for Customer Service, Sales, and Technical Support. Saving different Folder values for each department will allow the calls for a specific department to be retrieved quickly from the Call History. Calls for none of the above departments might be handled by setting:

Folder = "General"

The Quick-Start Tutorial example uses "Bill" and "Mary" folders to file messages. Steps 5 and 6 of the Quick-Start Tutorial show examples of a macros that set the Folder variable. Refer to step 9 of the Quick-Start Tutorial example to see how Folder values affect the Call History.
