Use a Specific Text-to-Speech Engine at this Node

Certain types of applications will require that the Call Tree change voices mid-stream. Examples of such applications are:

By default, Active Call Center will use the text-to-speech engine selected under Tools... Digital Voice Selection from the Active Call Center menu bar.

To change the text-to-speech engine used at a specific Node, follow these instructions:

From the Call Tree window, click the Node at which to change the voice.

When the Edit Node window appears, click the Advanced tab.

Check the box next to the field labelled Use a specific text-to-speech engine at this Node.

A dropdown list of available voices will appear immediately below the checkbox.

Select the voice to use and press the Click here when finished button.

Be careful when moving Call Trees that use custom voices to another computer. If the other computer does not have the same set of voices installed, the Call Tree will not work properly.
