Add New Responses

Use the "Add New" button on the Responses tab to add new responses.

Adding new responses is also the key to creating new Nodes: when you add a response with a new Node name in "Branch to Node", a new Node is born!

To add a new response:

Click the Add New button if the "Branch to Node" and "When response matches" fields at the top of the form are not already blank.

Fill in the "Branch to Node" and "When response matches" fields at the top of the form, and then click the Add New button again.

If the name of the Node entered under "Branch to Node" is not an existing Node, a new Node will be created.

For an example of adding new responses and creating new Nodes, please refer to step 3 of the Quick-Start Tutorial Instructions.

Note: Responses can be added even if there is no question at the current Node. Adding responses will create new Nodes, and the developer can route the call to these Nodes by setting the GotoNode variable in the VBScript. Additional responses can also be added to create extra Node variables, this topic is discussed later in Creating Extra Global Variables.
