Any Call Tree can be used for either inbound or outbound phone calls. Inbound calls are calls that are initiated by a caller and answered by Active Call Center. Outbound calls are initiated by Active Call Center and answered by the dialed party.
Both inbound and outbound Call Trees will start with an Answer_Phone Node. On an inbound call, processing begins at the Answer_Phone Node when Active Call Center answers the call. On an outbound call, processing begins at the Answer_Phone Node when Active Call Center acknowledges that the dialed party has picked up the call.
