You may want to move Call Trees from one computer (called the "source") to a different computer (called the "destination"). Moving the Call Tree itself is very easy; the difficulty arises because of file dependencies that may be present in the Call Tree.
For example, a Call Tree may have a number of pre-recorded audio prompts and also refer to a database. The audio prompts and the database are files that are stored in specific locations on the source computer. In order for the Call Tree to work properly after being moved to the destination, you must make sure that all of the dependent files are in the same locations on the destination as they were on the source computer.
The steps required to move a Call Tree are as follows:
Move the Call Tree file from the source computer to the destination computer. The Call Tree file is a single file with an ".acc" extension. For best results, make sure the Call Tree files on the source and destination are stored in identically named folders.
Thoroughly inspect your Call Tree for all file and program dependencies on the source computer. Make a list that includes audio prompts, data files, and any other files or programs that the Call Tree may use.
Move all of the dependent files from the source computer to the exact same folders on the destination computer.
Verify that all dependent programs that are on the source computer are also on the destination computer: for example, if your Call Tree uses a spreadsheet program, make sure the spreadsheet program is also installed on the destination computer.
Verify that Active Call Center is installed on the destination computer.
Test the Call Tree on the destination computer.
