Make a Copy of a Call Tree

Copies of Call Trees are useful for backup purposes. Copies are also great ways to experiment with Call Trees: make a copy of an example, make modifications to the copy, and if there are problems go right back to the original example again.

Please make frequent backup copies of your Call Trees. In the event that large branches of the Call Tree are accidentally deleted, you will be able to return to your backup copy and hopefully save yourself a lot of trouble.

To make a copy of your Call Tree:

From the menu bar, choose File ... Save Copy As.

Change to the folder where the new Call Tree should be saved and enter the name of the new Call Tree.

Click Save to finish creating the copy.

The original Call Tree will remain open. To open the copy, use the File ... Open Call Tree command.

Note: Windows Explorer can also be used to copy Call Trees. Since Call Trees are just files, they can be copied, renamed, moved, and deleted by using Windows Explorer.
