System Requirements
In order to use Active Call Center you must have the following hardware and software:
Hardware Requirements
- A computer with Intel Pentium or compatible processor, Pentium II or better recommended. Multi-processor systems are supported in Active Call Center version 2.6.0 and later, but the software will only use a single processor for execution.
- CD-ROM (for installing the software if you received it on a CD-ROM).
- Sound card, speakers, and microphone (for simulating telephone calls).
- 100% TAPI compliant voice modem or telephony card (for live telephone calls).
Most voice modems designed for Windows are Microsoft Windows TAPI compliant. Generally speaking, a voice modem is a modem that supports speaker phone capabilities. Some compatible brands of voice modems include: US Robotics/3Com and ZOOM. Telephony cards are sophisticated devices designed specifically for voice interaction on phone lines. For best performance, we recommend Brooktrout telephony cards.
- At least 80MB of hard disk space and at least 16MB of RAM.
Software Requirements
- Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP.
